HIGHLANDS, NJ – Highlands Mayor, Anna Little, the Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District, spoke with members of the Jersey Shore Tea Party Patriots last night. Anna, who has a history of bringing common sense solutions to government as a Monmouth County Freeholder and Mayor, was warmly received by the grass roots organization.
“Now, after we have supported illegal aliens, while bailing out Wall Street, our government wants to control our health care, deciding what doctors we'll use, and what treatment we'll receive.” Anna stated to over 50 people who attended the Oakhurst meeting. “It is time to fight against oppression and false representation in Washington.”
After speaking to the group and answering questions from the audience, Anna was asked to return next month to meet with the group again. Anna’s campaign to return to a constitutionally limited government, addressed many of the concerns expressed at the meeting. Leigh-Ann Bellew, an advisor to Little’s campaign and former Congressional Candidate, stated she is excited Anna has agreed to seek the seat and challenge Frank Pallone to represent the 6thCongressional district in Washington, DC.
“Anna Little has a proven record of reaching out to constituents across the political spectrum. Her experience as a mother, small business owner, freeholder, and mayor give her a unique understanding of how government should work. And she knows our government in Washington simply does not work.”
Anna is an authentic conservative offering real solutions and that is what will win in November and retire Frank Pallone. She stands ready to give our federal government the overhaul it needs by marching on Washington to uphold our rights to LIFE, LIBERTY and ECONOMIC FREEDOM.
“The American people are fed up with the liberal, progressive agenda of incumbents like Pelosi and Pallone. We need to elect conservative representatives who will uphold the Constitution. People like Anna – who recognize there is an urgent need for real reform in Washington,” said Bellew. “Anna knows how to grow and galvanize the grass roots. She is a proven fiscal conservative and the candidate who can defeat Pallone. “
Anna, who graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law, J.D., serves as Mayor in the Borough of Highlands where she lives with her husband and three children.
