Saddle Brook, NJ - Highlands Mayor Anna Little, Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District, won overwhelming approval from Americans for Prosperity and the Political Club for Growth this weekend. Mayor Little was among 14 congressional candidates who participated in the candidate forum that ended with a straw poll. State Sen. Mike Doherty (R-Washington Twp.) and AFP Vice President of Policy, Phil Kerpen asked the candidate questions after candidates presented a short speech.
"I was honored by the vote of confidence the participants afforded me," Little commented. "I entered this race to bring the voice of the people back to Washington and appreciate their support for my candidacy."
Americans for Prosperity and the Political Club for Growth rated Republican Mayor Anna Little of the Highlands as their favorite candidate among 14 who participated today in a Saddle Brook straw poll.
"Anna is the strongest candidate in this race," said Bellew, Little's campaign manager. "She has the experience and a common sense approach to government that is sorely missing in Washington. This year's election will be about issues and Anna has a firm grasps of the issues facing voters in the 6th district."
