HIGHLANDS, NJ, October 29
- Anna Little, Congressional Candidate in New Jersey’s Sixth District, has received
the endorsement of the National Right to Life Committee. In a letter to the
Little campaign, the nation’s largest pro-life network said that all Americans
concerned about the right to life should vote to send Little to the U.S. House
of Representatives.
“I am deeply honored to
receive the endorsement of the National Right to Life Committee,” said Little.
“I will fight for every American’s Right to Life – especially for our most
vulnerable citizens, for the very young, for the aged, for the infirm.”
Little has long defended
the right to life in her personal and public life. On October 10, Mayor Little
again received the endorsement of the Political Action Committee of New Jersey
Right to Life, the state's premier right to life organization. She is one of
only three Congressional Candidates and the only challenger to be so endorsed. NJRTL-PAC
also endorsed Little in 2010. “The first right named in the Declaration of
Independence is the Right to Life. If our right to live is not protected, then
all our other rights are rendered meaningless, ” Little concluded.
The complete text of the
endorsement letter reads as follows:
October
16, 2012
Dear
Mayor Little:
National
Right to Life is pleased to endorse you for election to the U.S. House of Representatives,
to represent the 6th Congressional District of New Jersey. You are a strong
advocate for life. You support pro-life legislation and you oppose the use of
federal funds for abortion.
Your
opponent, Congressman Frank Pallone, has compiled an extreme pro-abortion
voting record. Congressman Pallone voted to allow the use of abortion for sex
selection to continue, and he voted to allow the current policy of permitting
abortion for any reason, until the moment of birth, to continue in our nation’s
capital. He even voted to keep partial-birth abortion legal. Congressman
Pallone voted to enact President Obama’s health care law, which will provide
government funding for health plans that pay for abortion on demand, and will
result in the rationing of life-saving medical treatments.
You
are needed in Congress to help reverse the abortion-expanding and rationing
effects of that law. This endorsement reflects your commitment to strengthening
a culture of life throughout the nation and in the U.S. Congress. We look
forward to working with you to protect the most vulnerable members of the human
family – unborn children and medically disabled or dependent persons, whose
lives are threatened by abortion or euthanasia.
All
voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most
vulnerable members of the human family should vote to send you to the U.S.
House, where you can work to advance vital pro-life public policies.
