Impact of President Obama’s Economic Policies on New Jersey Businesses and Families

As New Jersey residents know all too well, the economic climate in our State is dire and has gotten worse since the current Administration has embarked on its deficit spending spree. As the President descends on New Jersey to speak about the economy, some key facts about New Jersey’s economic state should be remembered:
· New Jersey has lost 85,600 jobs since President Obama took office in January, 2009 *
· New Jersey’s unemployment rate has remained stagnant at well over 9%, 33rd in the nation, for 13 consecutive months since May, 2009**

The President’s economic policies have not worked. The Administration’s efforts will not work because they cannot work. The only vehicle capable of reinvigorating our State’s stagnant economy and putting people back to work is a free and vibrant market led by small businesses. Congress’ reckless spending and additional layers of bureaucratic red tape will not do the job.

To highlight the damaging impact of President Obama’s economic policies on New Jersey small businesses and families, coinciding with the President’s visit to New Jersey’s 6thCongressional District, Mayor and Republican nominee for Congress, Anna Little, invites you to a Press Conference:

DATE: Wednesday, July 28, 2010
TIME: 11:00 a.m.
PLACE: Burger King, 260 Plainfield Ave, Edison, NJ
PARTICIPANTS: Anna Little, Republican Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, NJ-6

At the press conference, Anna Little will be discussing the continuing economic crisis facing many New Jersey Businesses and Families living in the 6th District. The press conference will include the current state of the economy and offer solutions to help New Jersey recover from the current recession that the failed policies of the Obama Administration and Democratic led Congress have exacerbated over the past 18 months.
